Burger21Burg

If you haven’t heard the bird, and the word that he is spreading, you have the opportunity to get yourself a free, delicious burger, on the 17th of September. The wonderful people at Burger 21 are bringing this to you. First, you have to be close to a Burger 21, or willing to drive to one. Once you have that all sorted, you have to sign up to be one of their members. I present them in this order because it makes no sense to sign up when there is not one located near you.

Now all you have to do it wait. Wait for September 17th and go enjoy your free juicy burger. Also, when you sign up to be a member, you get a free regular side of fries. Awesome on awesome!

After scouring the web looking for some free food days, I’ve compiled a little list of where you can get free food on certain days.

Slurpee vs. ICEE! The Ultimate Frozen Slush Showdown!

Standard

Slurpee vs Icee

Vanilla vs. Chocolate, Lay’s vs. Doritos, Waffles vs. Pancakes, the list can go on and on. There are some eternal food battles that will live on well in to the day of freeze-dried pellet foods of the science fiction kind. Another food battle, or I should say drink battle that has been raging on for a while is that of the slushie kind. Slurpee Vs. ICEE, it is better than the Thrilla in Manilla, and colder to boot.

The Slurpee came out of the 1950’s and, with the help of the ICEE Company, broke out in to the market by only being sold in 7-11 stores. The ICEE was also born out of the 50’s but had a strong hold and had been marketed for some time before the Slurpee came in to being. According to their website, the Slurpee has 55 flavors compared to the measly number of 19 on the ICEE Company’s website. The Slurpee has the iconic font, while the ICEE has a polar bear wearing a sweater. Nobody messes with bears, nor bears in sweaters that are oddly human. Think about it, who would win? Would a logo beat the bear, or the bear beat the logo? Is it even important? All I know is that every time I go to the movies, or hit the gas station, I grab a slush, no matter what the brand.

We have a couple of places that serve desserts, but no slushes unfortunately. Here is a coupon for $3 off on MunchEm. Order today!
